Possible Risks:

The grooming process may lead to potential risks, including the exacerbation of conditions such as red or bloodshot eyes. Factors contributing to this may include the stress or tension experienced by the dog, which can result in muscle tension that increases the likelihood of eye vessel rupture. Additionally, physical handling during grooming may inadvertently cause discomfort or anxiety in some animals. It is essential for pet owners to be aware of these potential issues and monitor their pets closely after the grooming process.

Matted Coats :

Matted coats can significantly compromise the health of your pet's skin, increasing the risk of irritation and infection. To ensure your pet's comfort and well-being during grooming, we will apply a $10 irritation bath whenever mats are present. This treatment is designed to alleviate discomfort and minimize the chances of skin issues arising from grooming. We prioritize your pet's health and aim to provide the best care possible during their grooming sessions.

Grooming Time:

Grooming times will vary based on the individual dog's temperament, breed, and specific needs, as well as the context of the grooming environment. Prior to commencing any grooming activities, we will provide your dog with an opportunity to play and acclimate to the space. During this adjustment period, we will closely observe their body language to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed, allowing us to tailor the grooming experience to their unique disposition. This approach aims to create a positive and stress-free grooming experience for your pet. Haircut + Bath can range between 2-6 hours with an average of 2-4 hours. Professional Bath Packages can range between 1-4 hours with an average of 2 hours. Zen Baths can range between 1-3 hours with an average of 1.5-2 hours.

Pick Up Grace Period

We will reach out to you via phone and/or text to notify you when your pet is ready for pick up. Following this notification, you will have a grace period of 1 hour to collect your pet. Should you require extra time beyond this grace period, we are pleased to offer daycare services at a rate of $20 per day to ensure your pet is well cared for until closing time. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are greatly appreciated.

Late Pick Up:

If you arrive after our designated closing time, a fee of $1 per minute will be applied for every minute that you are late. Should you fail to arrive within a half hour after closing, your pet will be required to stay for overnight boarding at your expense, which will be charged at the standard nightly rate of $75 extra plus taxes and fees. Please ensure timely pick-up to avoid any additional charges, as we want to provide the best care for your pet while also respecting our operational hours. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Accidents

Although accidents are very rare, there is an inherent risk when dealing with animals that cannot be entirely eliminated. Your pet’s safety and comfort remain our highest priority, and we will take every precaution to ensure their well-being. In the event of any unforeseen incident, we will promptly notify you and take the necessary steps to address the situation. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept these risks while trusting us to act in the best interest of your pet.

Flea + Tick:

In the event that our staff discovers fleas or ticks on your pet during their visit, we will proceed with a flea and tick shampoo treatment to ensure the health and well-being of your animal. Please be advised that the cost of this treatment will be added to your bill. This measure is essential to prevent the spread of these pests and to maintain a safe environment for all pets in our care. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated in maintaining the highest standards of pet hygiene.

Payments

We currently accept only cash payments for our services. If you are unable to pay in cash, please notify us in advance so that we can make arrangements to accept alternative payment methods such as Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, or credit card, which will incur a 5% processing fee. Please note that the availability of these alternative payment options may vary and cannot be guaranteed in every instance. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter are greatly appreciated.

Gratuity

Please be advised that an automatic gratuity of 5% will be added to all grooming packages as part of our service. This gratuity can be removed upon your request if you prefer not to include it. Additionally, if you feel that the service provided warrants further appreciation, you are more than welcome to leave an additional tip at your discretion. Your satisfaction and feedback are greatly valued.

Vaccines

In compliance with local laws, it is mandatory for all dogs to be vaccinated against rabies, bordetella, and Parvo (DA2PP/Distemper) to ensure the safety and health of the community. As such, we require you to provide us with a current copy of your pet's vaccination records. Protecting the wellbeing of all animals and individuals is our top priority.

Health Check

I confirm that my pet is currently free from any signs of contagious illness and has not exhibited symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or diarrhea in the past 2 days. I understand that it is my responsibility to monitor my pet's health and to inform the service provider immediately should any symptoms arise prior to or during the service period. Furthermore, I acknowledge that failure to disclose any health issues may result in the termination of services to protect the well-being of other animals and personnel.

Responsibility

In the event that your pet causes injury to any person or another animal while in our daycare facility, you agree to be fully responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of that injury. This includes, but is not limited to, veterinary bills, emergency medical services, and any associated costs related to the treatment of the injured party. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept your liability for such expenses and agree to indemnify our facility against any claims arising from your pet's actions. It is recommended that you maintain appropriate pet insurance to cover potential liabilities.

Cancellation:

To cancel or reschedule any appointments, please provide us with a minimum of 24 hour notice. Failure to do so will result in a late cancellation fee of $30. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, as this policy helps us manage our schedule and serve all clients effectively. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
