Boarding Terms + Policies
Please provide sufficient food for your pets stay. If you choose or if you do not provide any or sufficient food for your pets stay they can be given house food at a charge of $5 per meal. Please be extremely careful, especially if your dog has any allergies in providing us with their food in the correct amount + instructions.
If your pet causes injury to any person of another animal, you will be held liable for any medical expenses associated with that damage.
When boarding dogs have 2 walks per day as well as their regular feeding schedule. They are given a lot of attention and love and we make it so they have a lot of fun and it feels like their second home. The rate is $75/night plus tax. $5 Additonal per meal if you want them to eat house food. Otherwise, please bring their own food from home labeled with instructions. Pick up and drop off can be anytime between 8am-6pm 7 days a week. Drop off can be anytime after 8am but if you are dropping off prior to 5pm there is an Additonal $20 fee for daycare. Pick up can be anytime before 6pm but if you are picking up after 9am there will be an additional $20 fee unless you are also doing a grooming.
Late Pick Up: If you arrive after closing you will be charged $5 a minute for that latest up to 1/2 hour after closing. If you still have not arrived within that 1/2 hour your pet will have to spend the night of boarding with us at your expense which is $75 per night plus tax and fees. In this event you must pick up your pet between 8-9am the following day. If you arrive after 9am there will be an additional $20 fee etc.
Possible Risks: All pets are analyzed and approved for behavior prior to being accepted into Daycare. We always have a Daycare professional overseeing pets at all times. However there are possible and unexpected risks involved. These situations are extremely rare, but, pets, though not likely, may be injured during play, may respond unpredictably, or may demonstrate a behavior which we have never seen in our prior analysis with said pet.
Although accidents are very rare, there is a risk when dealing with animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you will be notified of the accident. If we feel it is serious, and the owner is not on-site, we will seek immediate veterinary care for your pet at the pet owner's expense. This release gives Zen Animals full authorization to seek medical treatment from our preferred Veterinary Clinic.
Depending on the circumstance you may be responsible for any fees associated with this care. Again, if your pet causes injury to another pet or human in our care, you may be responsible for any fees incurred due to this as well.
Flea + Tick: As per state law, If we find Fleas or ticks on your pet we will perform a flea + tick shampoo at your expense.
Payment : We are accepting cash only at this time. If you cannot pay cash please advise us ahead of time so we can try and organize to accept a Venmo, zelle, cash app., Apple Pay or credit card for you for a 5% processing fee. This will not always be an option so please try and have cash ready at pick up.
Gratuity: Please note that there is an automatic 5% gratuity added tp all grooming packages, this can be removed upon request. If you wish to leave an additional tip this is also welcomed.
Vaccines for Dogs: NYC law requires Dogs to be be vaccinated just to walk on the street. The required vaccines are rabies, bordetella and Parvo (DA2PP/ Disptemper). My dog is up to date on these Vaccines.
Health Check: My pet does not demonstrate any signs of contagious illness.
